Wine products with added value
The aim of the project is the extension of the wine product market using experimental and applied research. The wine products will be from the area of non- and low-alcoholic wine products with the added value of increased content of antioxidants and polyphenols, especially resveratrol derivates. The manufacture will use alternative biotechnological production methods of the non- and low-alcoholic wines and concomitant utilization of the high antioxidant content in the waste products of wine industry (grape stems and canes). An effective by-product utilization from wine technologies will be achieved. The project will be accomplished by active cooperation between commercial subjects and research institution.
