The aim of the project is a development of apparatus and technological procedure for simultaneous removal and treatment of hydrogensulfide from biogas and oxidative forms of nitrogen from wastewaters treated in the Wastewater treatment plant, Biogas plant or other similar technological units. Hydrogensulfide from biogas will be removed by scrubbing with the liquid media available in the WWTP. The liquid with absorbed hydrogensulfide will be transfered to denitrification reactor to substitute external dosing of organic carbon as energetic sources for denitrifying bacteria. The final target of the project is to propose the technical design and technological parameters of hydrogensulfide absorber and optimal condition for dosing of liquid with absorbed sulfides to denitrification reactor. The effectivity of the equipment and technology will be demonstrated in pilot scale at the real conditions of a WWTP.
