The application of excipients constitutes an important element of modern agriculture. However an increasing pressure on lowering the amouns of synthetic preparations used, arises both from the consumers and institutions. The aim of this project is the development and testing of natural excipients for support of the nutrition, fitness and immunity of plants, e.g. Vitis vinifera. Observations will include the effect of excipient application on resistance and yield, but also on the microbial diversity of the rhizosphere and sprout, as the microbiome plays a significant role in the plant’s vitality.
